Plasma Serotonin, 24hr Urinary Serotonin, and 24hr Urinary 5HIAA tests measure serotonin levels and its metabolite, 5HIAA, in the blood and urine to help diagnose serotonin-secreting tumors, such as carcinoid tumors, or monitor related conditions.
